  • Bell (optional)
  • Starburst, or individually wrapped Lifesavers work well.

  • INSTRUCTIONS

The object of the game is to collect all the same color of candy in your brown lunch sack, by secretly trading without knowing what you are getting when you trade with other players.

If you have ever played the card game Pit, it is like this game only with candy and you don’t have to be sitting down.

Determine how many are to play the game, That is how many different colors of candy you will need. Then determine how many pieces of candy you want in each bag. Between 7 and 10 is a good number. Mix all the candy up and divide into the lunch sacks, be sure that each sack has the same number of candy.

Each person who is playing the game receives a sack of candy, they can take a few seconds to look in their sack and can decide what color they would like to try and collect.
Have a bell in a easy to reach spot in the room or yard. To start the game, give the bell a ring, candy trading begins.

You can trade any amount of candy. And any combination of colors. Reach into your sack and put the amount of candies you want to trade into your hand and close your hand up. Then call out the number of candies that you have in your hand to trade i.e. “Three, three, three.” You can only trade with someone who has the same number of candy as you have. The first person to collect all the same colors can go and ring the bell, then trading stops. Play a few rounds. Everyone wins because when your done playing the rounds you want, everyone gets to keep their sack of candy.
