    INSTRUCTIONS

Eat all chips, don’t forget to share. With a damp soapy dishcloth gently wash out the inside of the canister. Do not let the canister sit in water it will get soggy. Give it a quick rinse with warm water and gently dry thoroughly.
Collect the comics you want to put on the canister. Cut them out.
Pour a little Mod Podge into a small container. It is easier to work with this way.
Start painting on the Mod Podge on a area of the canister. Arrange the comics and over lap them a bit, so that the canister colors do not show through. Paint the Podge over the comics that have been glued down. This will seal the comics and give it a glossy look. Don’t over work your brush with the glue, it may tear the paper.
Work in small areas at a time. When canister is completely covered let dry for a couple of hours.
With parent help, cut a small slit in the canister lid that coins can fit through.
Voila a penny bank to collect your savings in that will sit on your dresser nicely.
Other options are to use any colored paper you like or magazine pictures, be creative!
