    INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare your work surface with news paper or plastic. Protect your cloths by wearing a paint shirt. Paint the clay pot any color, and let dry completely. If you have some small foam stamps paint those and press onto the pot. Cotton swabs make nice dots and swirls. Paint the pot however you would like, with what ever you have, and let dry.
Gently press the foam disk into the pot; it won’t go all the way to the bottom, just press enough that it is snug. There will be a bit of space at the top for your flowers to come out from. With wire cutters cut the wire into 2 -11 inch lengths and 1-12 inch length. Use the needle nose pliers to make a curl, shape it around at least twice, building onto the curl. Use your thumb to press out the curl slightly so the photos slide in nicely. Use the wire cutters again to clip the silk flowers, give them about a 3 or 4 inch stem and arrange them into the foam of the pot. When your happy with the way it looks, slide your photos into the curled wire. Then arrange the wire by pushing them down into the foam, as shown in the picture. This is a terrific project for yourself, and a gift for a family member or friend.
